The resort has the most beautiful stretch of man made beach in the Keys and has long been a prime shoot location for the likes of Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Victoria's Secret and top department stores such as Saks and Macys. It was the first time the execs from Hapari (based in Utah) had seen the Keys, and being a native Floridian it is always special sharing its beauty with others. The resort is made up of a number of beautiful beach houses and quaint cottages. The Moorings has always been a very private beach hide-away for celebrities so it was no surprise to see John Mellencamp enjoying some quiet family time while we were there. Along with a bevy of beautiful models from the US, Canada, Colombia, France and Brazil, veteran swimwear and fashion photographer Jorge Alvarez and his staff were on hand to shoot the catalog. Jorge (who has shot numerous celebrities and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit models) is part of the team Hapari has put together to take the brand to that next level."
