We think that kiteboarding is one of the most beautiful things anyone can watch on the beach (ok, maybe beautiful models is right up there too.) So when award-winning Producer and Photographer Erin Calmes from Keta Films offered Bikini.com a sneak peek at some very cool shots from one of her very cool recent kiteboarding productions, we just couldn't resist. She was on a private pro athlete tour of Puerto Rico hosted by leading kiteboarding school 15 Knots Kiteboarding, with Pro Kiteboarders Kris Kinn, Shannon Best, Jon McCabe, Jeremie Tronet, Melissa Gil and Juan Carlos. They were producing a series of TV commercials for detoxifying drink Rebootizer, a couple of athlete videos and an in-depth feature for some magazines, including Kiteboarding Magazine and SBC Kite.

Erin told Bikini.com, "We arrived at the vacant, beautiful, tiny white sand island called Palomino Island via Captain Juno's private yacht. As we approached the island, we spotted some lovely women on jet skis arriving at the same time. It was the Reef Girl 2012 Calendar shoot! Both teams quickly got to business as the morning was burning on and we were losing light. We did a series of interviews with some of our pros and both teams were very respectful of each others projects. We did, however use each others subjects in our prospective assignments. What better content than lovely women, tropical beaches and some amazing kiteboarding athletes. I've gotta say, of course the men athletes were loving it. We all were. This has got to be the world's greatest bikini vortex story ever! And a producer/photographer's dream... I could not have written this script any better! None of us will ever forget this day."
